Fasl I — Pieces to Pass Down

Fasl (فصل) is the Persian word for season, but it also means chapter. While fashion often revolves around seasons, Fasl I marks the first chapter of KEEN, a collection inspired by the things that outlive them.

Some things become more valuable with time. A handwoven rug. A favourite cardigan. A story retold around the table. They remind us that the most meaningful possessions are not the newest ones, but the ones we choose to care for, preserve and eventually pass on.

At the heart of this collection is a Persian rug that once belonged to my grandfather. Years after his passing, caring for that rug became more than an act of maintenance; it became an act of remembrance. It represents a belief that true heirlooms are not meant to be stored away, but to be lived with, looked after and appreciated so they can continue their journey into the next generation.

That same belief shaped the conversations that accompanied this campaign. Parents and their children sat together in open, one-to-one conversations, reflecting on dreams that were once pursued, sacrifices that were made, lessons that were learned and the values they hope to pass on. Not because every answer is perfect, but because some conversations are too important to disappear with time.

The garments in Fasl I are a reflection of that philosophy. Designed with timeless craftsmanship and made to age beautifully, they are not simply pieces for a wardrobe, but pieces intended to become part of someone's story.

Because the greatest things we inherit are rarely the things we own. They are the things we choose to preserve, the wisdom we choose to share, and the memories we choose to carry forward.
